ABOUT US

In December 1982 Joan Campbell created her Swim School with four families in The Paneth's backyard pool on Bichams Court in East St. Kilda. That summer she taught in many homes.

In March 1983 she moved to our present location, an indoor heated 25m. pool, at C.B.C on Westbury St. in East St. Kilda where "Swimming With Care" was born with just twelve pupils using the pool for just one hour a week. As our beginners learnt more we kept adding more levels and more classes.

Joan was already an Austswim qualified teacher and soon became a qualified Coach and Pre-school Aquatics Teacher. She has always kept up with her on going thirst for knowledge by attending courses and conferences, including two World Baby Conferences.

Joan had always taught swimming -see right she is teaching at about 14years as a volunteer in the "Herald Learn To Swim" Program!

Swimming With Care is certified by Swim Australia which is endorsed by Active Australia, Australian Swimming Inc., AUSTSWIM, AUSSI Masters Swimming and R.L.S.S.
