OUR TEAM

Janelle has been our Office Manager since 1988 - stopping only to have her two children. She now works two days a week and co-ordinates all the lessons and handles all accounts.

 

 

 

 

THE SUPERVISORS
Joan and Leslie supervise all lessons so we can guarantee quality teaching and maintain consistency in our results. The Supervisor handles any client questions about the lessons. Leslie as swum at National level in Canada, has taught swimming and coached squad. She is responsible for our Squad Program.

THE COACHES
Our coaches are trained to teach with love, enthusiasm, and motivation. They are all aware that teaching children a lifesaving skill is one of the most important things they will ever do in their lives. All are Austswim qualified or in the process of completing the course. The baby teachers are trained in the specific skills required for that age group.
In addition to their qualifications, our coaches do at least 20 hours of training in our system and have training videos and meetings to constantly upgrade their knowledge and increase their skills. They have the opportunity to attend conferences and workshops.
We are also fortunate that most of our coaches participated in lessons or squad at out Swim School (some have been with us since they were two!) They are all university students and we find that most stay with us until they complete their degrees. This allows us to have a well-trained and consistent staff.
